my motto. within this quote is such insight into the world and into the minds of each of us. we, humanity, is a sheep. we do what we are told by the gov’t. what to drink. what to smoke. who to have sex with and who we can’t have sex with (i.e. – prostitution) tell us which ‘god’ is the right god to choose in. what happened to state and religion remaining separate?
we are so much less likely to notice what rights are being stripped away from us if they are taken one at a time. there are things that happen in this country without you knowing. no, im not talking conspiracies or anything like that. simply what gets publicized and what does not. who do you think has the final say on what hits TV and what does not? the FCC. know what the F stands for? Federal! so, i can add to the list that they tell us what to watch too! when does it end? you mean to tell me that i cannot make up my own mind to choose what i should and should not watch? or that parents aren’t sutable enough to tell their children what to and not to watch? why does our gov’t feel that they need to step in and tell us what we need to do? are we thoughtless? what about liberty and the pursuit of happiness? to touch on the topic of Prostitution, why is it illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away? (we owe that argument to George Carlin)
we have but 1 chance on this big round ball in space. life is simply a series of choices, big choices but none-the-less choices. the question is, will you let someone else answer them for you?
